Programming
The Faceplate Timer
When
the transformer is plugged into the electrical outlet, 12:00
AM, SUnday begins to flash in the faceplate display. Set
the present time of day and day of week as follows.

Step
1.
Set Time Of Day
-
Press
the (Present
Time and Day) button once. The hour display continues
to flash.

Press
the (Set
/ Clear) button until the present hour shows. Be sure
AM or PM, as applies, also shows.
NOTE:
Press Set / Clear and quickly release to slowly advance
the display. Hold Set / Clear for fast advance. This
procedure applies for all following time settings.

Press
the
(Present Time and Day) button once to steady hours,
and minutes begin to flash.


Step
2. Set Present DAY Of Week
-
Rapidly
press and release, or hold the
(Set / Clear) button until the present day flashes.

Press
the
(Present Time and Day) button a final time to steady
the entire time display. NOTE:
No other settings are needed after installing the unit.
It is factory set to regenerate (or recharge) every Monday,
Wednesday and Saturday, beginning at 2:00 AM. Fill time
is set for 8 minutes. For most families, this provides enough
conditioned water for their needs. However, if you want
the unit to regenerate at a different time, or on different
days, or to adjust fill time, continue below.
Step
3.
Set Days And Time Of Regeneration
-
Press
the (Recharge
Time) button once. The factory set recharge days show,
along with a flashing 2:00 AM.

If
no change is desired, move on to the next step. If you want
to change the recharge start time, press the
(Set / Clear) button until the desired starting hours
show.

If
you want recharge to occur on Sunday, Press the
(Set / Clear) button until ON shows.

If
you DO NOT want recharge to occur on Sunday, Press
the (Set
/ Clear) button until OFF shows.

Step
4.
Set The Fill Cycle Minutes
-
Press
and hold the
(Recharge Time) button until FILL shows in the
display. After a few seconds, the fill cycle minutes (factory
setting = 8) will flash.
- Press
the
(Present Time and Day) button to return the present time
display.
